Imagine how many titles Snooks would have won if he would have been open to recruiting players from Canada -- but he alway said to do would be denying American kids the chance to play. And remember began coaching only 3 years after playing as a volunteer coach as he taught high school.

I wonder how he would react to today's salaries.

It was always a battle between the All American BC teams and BU with their many Canadians.

But Snooks remained FAITHFUL. We loved him for it! Most of the BC players were all our friends from our home towns. McHugh was always packed!

Snooks office was the first smallest dump on earth and it musta been pure heaven for him. I chatted him up a few times!

I ate cake when he won 500 and big lanky Ed Kenty scored 4!
