I am so much going to miss the knowledge of the posters on this board. I have read a few threads on Eagleinsider and almost feel asleep. I wish you the best, my friend. We may not always agree, but that is what makes this board so special— we don’t lose respect for the other because of the respect that lister has earned. Godspeed
I will miss reading you, and Penny, too. I don't care for Eagle Insider at all. I think their format is poor, below average, and insufferable. My hope is AJ finds a way to keep this site operational.

If this site continues it will probably be because SI keeps it up.
I've said it before. I run this and put the funds down to get it up and going, not SI. And I hope you join the EI message board, it literally runs the same way this does, but with more Boston College fans. A bunch of the commenters here have already signed up and began posting (74 is already very active.). It doesn't cost anything to even just try, so I hope you head over!

If you need help signing up, let me know!

It was my understanding that SI can decide to replace AJ and thus it is possible that his replacement could keep this blog going. Sorry if I misunderstood.

They could keep BC Bulletin up, but Maroon and Gold forum is my project

too bad we are closing down. Would have loved to discuss BC’s plans with NIL and NFTs
Hafley comments (between the lines) signaled the complete opposite of my strategic post. I would post on Insider some day but probably not worth it?

Penny, I think CA is hoping the Big 10 will also take CAL or UCLA will give them some sort of money deal from the BIG 10 (14, or whatever). But there is no law in place right now that would compel UCLA to do anything to help CAL. Not to say the CA congress couldn't cook something up quickly, but right now folks cannot afford to live there and there are so many problems, I wouldn't bet money on that happening. And JAR is just restating the obvious -- UCLA's programs were deep in debt and the windfall he is getting is to keep the minority sports afloat -- given the political leanings of that state, I cannot imagine they would fight UCLA in what it has done -- as the state is also broke and cannot make anyone whole -- reminds me of CT and some other NE states that are trying to get money anyway they can. Your thoughts?

As to the new board, I am still waiting to see what happens. I wonder how BC will land future recruits given its lack of any strong NIL identification, the weakness of the conference and its betting everything on the contract keeping the league together, poor facilities and fan support, and lack of a rated football program. I love the posters on this board for they recognize exactly where BC stands at the present moment without all the unjustified positivity -- but until we see something happening what is the motivation for just posting the same old same old. I have resulted to the only remedy left -- Prayer!

I want to avoid politics but California should be the state with the highest population growth and instead it's the state where everyone is fleeing... even sadder though... people leave the state but not their mind set...
