Lack of Respect from Local Media

First and most importantly WHAT A GAME. Best football game I have ever been too. Atmosphere was electric, Students stayed the whole time, sell out crowd, field rush was fun at the end. Overall a PERFECT experience.

BUT I am driving home listening to 98.5 after the game. I try to call in about the BC game and they said they weren't taking calls on the BC game because they wanted to talk patriots BOYCOTT THESE CLOWNS. DONT LET THE PATRIOTS HAVE FULL CONTROLL ANYMORE. COLLEGE FOOTBALL IS WAY BETTER

The Boston media, in general, doesn't care about Boston College athletics. I have a feeling though, if the Eagles beat Clemson to go 5-0, the media will be forced to take notice and start covering BC more than they do now.

Radio Stations do not have favorites -- they have polls that tells them what most of their listeners want to hear. I live near Dallas and I don't care what time of year or how bad the team is, folks are always calling the sports programs to talk Cowboys --If we want to have more discussion about BC football, we need more calls requesting that talk. It all about ratings. If BC organizes call ins requesting to talk BC football, the stations will begin to talk BC football. There are firms that do this for company all the time. Now that we are 4-0, expect the trolls to come on this site -- to see if they can upset us -- as a fan AJ will not like it, but as a business man, it will produce him more revenue.
