Other BC friends are pushing for Augie Hoffman (former BC liineman), but I do not see why he would leave Rutgers as running backs coach to be a offensive line coach at BC. But he would be a great choice if he would come. My understanding is that Schiano's coaches love him.

I have a friend at UK who told me Applebaum was high on the Mark Stoop's as offensive line coach replacement there. UK has a great line coming back and will see a couple of its lineman drafted high in the upcoming draft. If he hadn't gone to Miami, he may have very well left for Kentucky. Normally, assistant coaches get paid more from the SEC than the ACC.

Applebaum did poorly at BC considering the talent he had.
Maybe the NFL is a better fit for him
I hope McNulty brings someone he can gel with!

I agree Penny. It seemed evident that DAZ had developed most of these guys before he was fired and Baum got the credit -- but the line never clicked together these past two seasons when facing good competition,

Right

YOU HAPPY NOW?

The damage that keeps on damging.

You know Hafley is out of here as soon as he puts together a 9 or 10 game season.

You have single handedly lead to the demise of BC football.

It's he backup QB silly.

Pittsburg and Dolphins don't know talent when they see it as in Cig and Applebam or you and PP don't have a clue.

Jeff Hafley addressed coaching carousel rumors during his press conference today.

Congratulations to Penny Packer on his hat trick: Cig, Applebaum and Daily. I hear there is one more on deck.

PP the one man recking ball.
Not to mention the '22 recruits and transfers he scared away.

Harley isn't going anywhere until he has at least a couple of 6 - 2 ACC Conference records. A 2-6 Conféence record will not get you that job.

If Haf was offered the Penn State job he would have taken it.

Thank you for bringing this up. I was talking to some higher up at BC, and I heard that there has been a coaching exodus due to and I quote "Some random anonymous dude with a Seinfeld inspired name and pic". Couldn't believe it, but sounds so true, guess they were debating about staying but then said "I can't stand being critiqued by a message board poster, I'm leaving". This site has ruined BC football.

Good luck to the departing coaches, other than Cignetti (Being that he’s now an ACC opponent) I wish the other coaches great success. With that being said, I am a little surprised at how many coaches are being plucked away from a coaching staff that has been nothing more than mediocre. Granted that the defense appears to be improving under Hafley’s tenure, I would argue that the offense has been mediocre at best. I could understand if BC had a 9 win season but they’ve been mediocre. Not sure why teams are lining up to poach the BC coaching staff, what am I missing???

OneBullet, I am not surprised. We lost an offensive coordinator that did not adapt to an injury to a QB that had a history of being injury prone -- we lost a line coach who couldn't get NFL draft picks to block together despite being together for several years, and we lost a young assistant who is taking a great career jump in getting pro experience. Despite Baum's problems getting the line to play together, he was high on KY's list to work there and rumor has it this was his second pro offer. And I don't see it as bad for BC if our coaches can move on to other positions after spending some time here. Young coaches on the rise may see BC as a place to go to build their resume. And I hope high school students will still apply to BC despite the fact that our student applications have dropped to zero -- all because of this board -- but we all know the real reason for students seeking other colleges is Grosel --I wish I could share how I know all this -- but then you would all know that I have no sources -- and what fun would that be -- I mean this board would be left having to actually discuss sports.

I dont see any demise from the coaches leaving as its a natural progression. I see it as a chance to revitalize our offense and better utilize our talent.

Miami knows a good O-line coach when they see one.
Some amateur hacks that don't understand that a useless backup quarterback that the opposing teams laughed and didn't have the arm for a long ball, inaccurate and late on the short slants, crossing and screen routes enabled defenses to BLITZ OVER 50% OF THE TIME, STACK THE BOX AND HAVE SAFETIES PLAYING AT LINEBACKER DEPTH is impossible for BC O-line to defend for a whole game.

Notice the O-Line did better in the first half of the games. They were totally beat by the second half.

Hafley said the players were ignoring the "noise" (PP , CDB). Whsat coach wants to be berated by a couple of no-nothing knuckleheads. They have good offers . They are not masochists. They left.

Some say BC is not at a loss. The "noise" has already lost BC some '22 recruits and transfers, not to mention some good coaches. Haf brought excitement and praise for BCs program. The "noise" has done damage to that. Good chance that goodwill is lost forever. BC reputation is stigmatized.
The "noise" continues their negative droning.

Too bad.

BC will see their recruiting class rank decline this year and into the future.

PS : CDB my 8 year old loves your emoji's. She will probably out grow them this year. Will you ?
