Just playing around....If they go to three rivals, this how I would set it up:

BC--Pitt, Syracuse, Wake
Clemson--FSU, GT, Louisville
Duke--UNC, NCSU, Wake
FSU--Clemson, GT, Miami
GT--Clemson, FSU, UVA
Louisville--Clemson, Miami, VT
Miami--FSU, Louisville, Pitt
UNC--Duke, NCSU, UVA
NCSU--Duke, UNC, Wake
Pitt--BC, Miami, Syracuse
Syracuse--BC, Pitt, VT
UVA--GT, UNC, VT
VT--Louisville, Syracuse, UVA
Wake--BC, Duke, NCSU

IMO… most fans would not see Syracuse, Pitt and Wake as exciting games to attend even if they are highly ranked…

I would personally make sure that Clemson, FSU and one between Virginia Tech or Miami (because of Flutie) will be on our permanent schedule…

I agree with 74. I would prefer to see games against ACC teams than some of the loser opponents we have had in the past -- they are usually sure wins, poorly attended, and they pose high risk in case we go against a really good team that can either beat us or play us close. It's a win-win for them and not so much for us. Better to play against better teams in the ACC and then schedule a dynamite out of conference opponent and one easy opponent rather than the keep a schedule that generally assures a bowl game even though BC isn't addressing what needs to be improved on the team.

And, if I may, just to clarify -- I see these boards just as I would see 2 or 3 of us out for a beer or a cup of coffee and we are discussing our views on BC sports -- no one is right and no one is wrong -- it is a way for us to express our passion and love for our school. And that the end of the discussion we all shake hands or maybe use the man hug and look forward to the next time. In my memory there has only been one poster who condemned folks for having views different than his own -- and thankfully, he stopped posting. So, I don't care if anyone disagrees with me -- I don't take that personally -- we are just BC guys and girls being BC guys and girls -- and that is one of the great things about being a BC guy or a BC girl.

We don't get our self esteem here -- we get that from the folks we love. nuff said.

That poster was a Troll from another platform

He was trying to prevent this platform from growing by making it an unpleasant place.

Once his mo got exposed he went Into hiding… but he will be back

I feel that some of you are including the days BC was in the Big East in your equations...

But BC left the Big East

So we need to focus only on the ACC Programs that will excite Fans (whether BC’s, Traveling opposing fans or even local Football Fans) so that they will show up and fill Alumni.

Why would you ever want a permanent series with Wake? Their fans won't even show up at their own Home Games so why would they Travel to Chestnut Hill?

Cuse, Miami and Notre Dame

Cuse the Rivalry Game.
Miami the Friday after Thanksgiving
We all would relish having ND every year. I hope the new AD will meet with the ND AD and partnership together to make it happen in the ACC

Change Cuse with either Clemson or FSU and we have a deal
I do like an annual game with Clemson. We have had an interesting history with them going back to the 1940 Cotton Bowl and later games with them in 1941 & 1942. BC's 1st win was in 1942. A 14-7 Victory in Boston. Read all about it in the link below:

I want to play the best teams we can. Let's recruit and coach well enough to be competitive with the best. The ACC is not a league of easy colleges to graduate from. The degree means something in the majority of schools. That means we can attract the same kids as most of the schools -- I know we cannot pay them like Miami is -- but we can be competitive. Let's play the best and in doing that gain the experience to become better than all of them. Remember, before Dabo we used to beat Clemson even though they always had better recruits.
